The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin visited Tirupur on Monday, inaugurated project works in the city, and later conversed with the exporters of the All India Exporters Federation.
Tirupur: The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin spoke with the exporters in Tirupur on Monday.
The Chief Minister arrived at Tirupur on Monday and attended the event organized at the Chikkanna Government Arts College in the city. He distributed welfare assistance to the beneficiaries, inaugurated the completed projects, and laid foundations for the new projects. The Chief Minister subsequently held talks with the exporters of the All India Exporters Federation.
Twenty-nine people, including Sakthivel, President of the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), exporter Dollar Baalu, attended the meeting. Expressing their gratitude to the Chief Minister for bringing 83,000 new employment opportunities. The stakeholders stated that the new government has been dawn on the industry since taking charge on 7th May 2021.
An investor conference was held two months after he assumed office and 40 projects at an investment of about 28,500 crores were brought up in the conference.
They thanked the Chief Minister for taking steps to increase exports to 100 billion USD by 2030, besides just making the state viable for employment in the whole of South Asia. The exporters thanked the Chief Minister for publishing a separate export development policy, which was the side’s long-standing demand, within a short span of assuming office.
