The Tirupur Exporters' Union to urge that action should be taken to bring the ESI Hospital in Tirupur into operation immediately and the ongoing Smart City projects in Tirupur should be completed expeditiously.
Tirupur: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will attend a state function at the Tirupur Chikkanna Government Arts College and provides welfare assistance to the public.
Following this, he will be participating in a consultative meeting to be held with those associated with the Tirupur industrial sector. The representatives of the sector plan to present various demands to the Chief Minister on behalf of the industry at this consultative meeting. In particular, they will demand that the rise in yarn prices be curbed and that the yarn prices be brought under control as the wool price has risen to Rs 350 per quintal and the knitting sector is in a declining environment.
