The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, who arrived in Coimbatore to attend the Government Welfare Aid Programme, was greeted enthusiastically by one lakh volunteers who waved party flags from the Coimbatore Airport to the VOC Grounds.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore Chief Minister MK Stalin, who is in Coimbatore to launch new projects and provide welfare assistance, was given an enthusiastic welcome at the Coimbatore International Airport. Minister Senthil Balaji gave the TN CM a warm welcome. Firecrackers were busted and trumpet was played by a band.
MK Stalin will attend events in Coimbatore today and tomorrow, including the distribution of welfare assistance, the laying of the foundation stone for new projects and he will declare open to the public various projects that are ready to use.
Led by Minister V. Senthil Balaji, on the eve of Stalin's arrival at the DMK headquarters in the integrated Coimbatore district, welcomed the CM with an allotment of 10 blocks per km from the airport to the VOC ground.

Karthik, Paiyya (A) Krishnan, North District Officer CI Ramachandran, East District Officer S Senadhipathi and Southern District Officer Dr. Varadarajan were present.
