While on his way to work, Police Constable collapsed and dies on the way to hospital in Pollachi. The man who was in his early 50s is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Pollachi: A 52-year-old police constable collapsed and passed away on Saturday while he was headed to work.
Jawaharlal Nehru, (52), of Balaji Nagar in Pollachi Vadakkipalayam division, is working as the chief constable of Pollachi taluk police station. Jawaharlal collapsed all of a sudden last morning while he was headed to work in a vehicle. He was rushed to a hospital. Jawaharlal reportedly died while he was on the way to Coimbatore GH.
The constable is survived by his wife and two daughters. Taluk police are investigating the death which has caused slight grief among the Pollachi police.
