The hearing of the bail plea of the principal of the private school in Coimbatore school girl suicide case was adjourned to 24th. A 17-year-old girl killed herself after her school teacher, Mithun Chakravarthy, (31) sexually assaulted her. Mithun Chakravarthy and the school principal, Meera Jackson were booked and arrested under POCSO.
The School principal Mini Jackson (aka) Meera Jackson, (46) was arrested for not taking appropriate action despite complaints about sexual harassment that the girl student went through.
Meera Jackson, filed a petition seeking bail at the POCSO Special Court in Coimbatore, and the hearing was held yesterday. The case is adjourned to 24th as the police sought time to file a reply.
