Coimbatore District Annual General Body Meeting of the Tamil Nadu Industrial and Micro Entrepreneurs (Doct) Association was held. Various resolutions were passed.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Annual General Body Meeting of Tamil Nadu Industrial and Micro Entrepreneurs (Doct) Association was held on 19.11.2021 at the office of the Association under the chairmanship of District Chairman J. James.

An executive committee of 71 people was elected.
Resolution passed include:-
1. Inflation in raw materials, the main source of industry, has risen by more than 100 per cent a year and the entire industry is currently paralyzed.
In the Coimbatore district, micro-enterprises relying solely on more than 30,000 job orders were subjected to a severe economic crisis, unable to pay the wages of hired workers who had borrowed money from banks and private financial institutions without realizing it.
Due Covid-19 raising raw material prices to protect businesses in crisis for two years The central government should provide two lakh state government one lakh interest free loan to protect small businesses.
2. In the interest of small and micro entrepreneurs, the Government of Tamil Nadu should set up a separate welfare board with the participation of representatives of micro and small enterprises on the board.
3. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu should give the opportunity to meet the executives of the Small Business Small Entrepreneurs Association and ask them directly and help them.
4. It was decided that the industry organizations throughout Tamil Nadu should fully participate in the struggle to condemn the rise in prices of raw materials.
5. The Government of Tamil Nadu should select state-owned sites in Coimbatore for micro-enterprises in dire straits and help the Government of Tamil Nadu to create more micro-enterprises in the districts.
6. The government should withdraw the new requirement of ISO to get a 25% subsidy for machines purchased by small entrepreneurs. Simplify the laws to get micro entrepreneurship subsidy.
