Social activist Thiagarajan has filed a petition with the District Urban Planning Office, Coimbatore Local Planning Board seeking cancellation of the unauthorized plot of land located on the 1.90-acre land. Officials from the District Urban Planning Office and the corporation surveyed the area and found that the plot of land had been cleared on 1.90 acres through a forged map.
Coimbatore: The plot of land of 1.90 acres in Coimbatore has been cancelled on the ground that approval has been obtained for making a fake map.
Permission was granted by the Director of Urban Planning for a 3.50 acre plot of land in Vilankurichi, Coimbatore Corporation, East Zone. In this land division, it was alleged that the park space was occupied by making a fake map.
