Coimbatore: Lung Effect Awareness Camp was held on the occasion in observance of World Lung Effect Disease Day on 17.11.2021.

The camp was organised at the Specialized Medical Unit of the Lungs of the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital.

It was declared open by the Head of the College, Dr. A. Nirmala.

Dr.A.Nirmala said, "Book-holding and air pollution are the main cause of this disease so it should be avoided." If you have any symptoms of the disease such as chronic cough and shortness of breath, consult a doctor and seek proper treatment. The camp will be held for five days.”
