Mahalingapuram police are investigating the theft of jewellery and LED TV by breaking the lock of a house near Pollachi.
Coimbatore: Srinivasan (48) is from D. Kottampatti Rajarajeswari Nagar Extension area near Pollachi. He owns and operates a truck. He had gone out of town, on the 15th as one of his relatives passed away. Srinivasan returned home last night.
When he went inside, he was shocked to find that the front door of the house had been broken into and he found that the wardrobe had been broken into. He realized that two-and-a-half sovereign of gold jewellery and the LED TV in the house missing.
Following this, Srinivasan lodged a complaint about the robbery at the Mahalingapuram police station. Mahalingapuram police have registered a case and are investigating the complaint.
