Coimbatore: Palanisamy (41) is from Subbegavundanpudur near Anaimalai. He was arrested in Anaimalai in 2002 and sentenced to life imprisonment. He was lodged in Gudalur Central Jail. According to reports, the convict visits home on parole from time to time. Palanisamy, who was on 3-day parole on the 17th at his home in Subbegavundanpudur, allegedly called his relative Karuppusamy (40) from the same area yesterday and threatened to kill him.
