Minister Senthil Balaji assures solution for long standing problems of the people of Coimbatore

Minister Senthil Balaji assured that massive steps will be taken to find permanent solutions to problems that have not been solved for many years in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: In Coimbatore district, Minister Senthil Balaji has been going directly to the people's assembly through municipalities and town panchayat to understand the grievances of people by receiving petitions. As a part of this a people's assembly program was held in Periya Negamam municipality near Pollachi. Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister Senthil Balaji received petitions from the public.



He later told reporters that he had visited 150 places in the last 30 days and received petitions from the public. More than one lakh petitions have been received from the general public, in anticipation of receiving 25,000 petitions in the first phase. Ten or fifteen times in the past, the public has submitted petitions with confidence as no action has been taken on any of the petitions filed by the public. The Chief Minister will take appropriate action on this, reiterated the minister. Through the petitions, most of them have asked for old age allowance and housing allowance. He said the petitions received would be examined, scrutinized department wise. The minister assured that immediate action would be taken to bring a solution to the various problems that the people of Coimbatore are facing.
