Coimbatore: The State Child Welfare Commission today launched an investigation into the incident in which a 17-year-old student from Coimbatore committed suicide due to sexual harassment.
Commission members Ramaraj, Mallika and Saranya, headed by Child Welfare Commission chairperson Saraswathi Rangasamy, are conducting an inquiry before the session.
Child Welfare Commission officials are investigating the student's parents, fellow students, school administrators and teachers in connection with the student suicide and sexual assault allegations.
