CBI officials raided the engineer's house that is located near Periyanaickenpalayam area and confiscated his laptop and cellphone. Serious action is being taken to prevent the circulation of child pornographic content.
In this case, the CBI is prosecuting those who upload child pornography content on the Internet. The CBI has registered cases in 77 places in Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. Authorities are conducting a check.
Four persons led by CBI officer Manickavel raided the house of a 23-year-old engineer from Bettadapuram near Periyanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore district from 8 am to midnight yesterday. At the end of the search, the team confiscated a laptop and cellphone from his home.
According to police, CBI officials are investigating on a suspicion that he may have been involved in posting child pornography content on the internet. The laptop and cellphone confiscated from the house is under investigation, after which action, will be taken.
