An elderly couple was attacked in the Alvin Nagar area of Ramanathapuram in Coimbatore and 30 sovereigns of gold jewellery worth few lakhs was looted from them.
Coimbatore: Unidentified men broke into the house of Rajasekar and Shanthi, an elderly couple and they were attacked by 4 men who stole jewellery from the couple.
Rajasekar, who was injured in the robbery, was admitted to the government hospital. All 4 thieves have spoken in English while stealing jewellery and money.
