Coimbatore: For the safety of the public, the District administration continues to implement the Coronavirus Vaccination Drive across Coimbatore district.
As part of this, the 9th Mega Vaccination Camp is being held on Thursday across Coimbatore district. The camps are scheduled to be held in a total of 500 places, in 350 locations in rural areas and 150 locations in the Corporation area. 1,98,000 vaccines have been stockpiled for this purpose.
In addition, Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran stated that the special vaccination camps will be conducted for two days in a week, to make the vaccine easily available to the general public. Accordingly, special vaccination camps and medical teams will be set up, and the special vaccination camps will be held on Thursdays and Sundays in public places and at all Government Primary Health Centers.
