A special camp was organized in Valparai on Tuesday for the Adivasi tribes in Valparai region for provision of ration cards and community certificates.
Valparai: A special camp was held for Adivasi tribals at the Valparai Tahsildar office in Valparai on Tuesday upon the orders of the Pollachi Sub-Collector, Thakare Shubham Dnyandeorao.
There are about eight Adivasi tribal villages in Valparai with about 1500 inhabitants.

As many as 40 beneficiaries were issued old age allowance, community certificates, ration cards, Aadhaar cards, Tribal Welfare Board Identity Cards, Voter IDs, along with special arrangement made to start a bank account as well as special IDs relating to revenues.

Valparai Tahsildar Kumar, Anaimalai Deputy Tahsildar Vasudevan, Deputy Tahsildar Muthukumar, Revenue Inspector Thangaratnam, Sethumadai VAO Selvam, Special Revenue Inspector Karthikeyan, Anaimalai Revenue Tahsildar Banumathi, Special Tahsildar Taluk Supply Officer Murugaraj and Valparai VAO Vijaya Amritraj participated in the camp.

Over 50 tribals benefited through the camp.
