The CCMC Commissioner who visited the public toilet questioned how the bill was then written for the cost of maintenance of the toilet.
Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, the CCMC Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara has ordered for a memo to be issued to an engineer who had not maintained the public toilet properly in Karunanidhi Nagar, 10th Ward.

Duringn the inspection, the CCMC Commissioner spoke to the public in the area who complained that the streetlight was not working, sewage was always blocked and that there was no water to use in the public toilet. He then inspected the public toilet where the motor was broken and there was no water facility.
Hence, he questioned how a bill was written for cost of maintenance of the toilet. The CCMC Commissioner then ordered a 'memo' to be issued to the junior engineer, Hari, for not maintaining the toilet.
Later, the CCMC Commissioner visited the microbial composting center at Ramasamy Road, MGR, behind the market and advised the workers there after listening to how the center is operated. Assistant Executive Engineer Hemalatha and Zonal Health Officer Shanmuganathan were also present during the inspection.
