Police officials and parents fly to Delhi to bring back the 15-year old missing girl.
Coimbatore: The 15-year old daughter of a Government transport operator from Veeramathi Amman Kovil Road in Karumathampatti, Coimbatore who is studying in Class 11 at a private school in Karumathampatti, left home for school on November 12, as usual.
But on learning that she had not gone to school that day, her parents lodged a complaint at the Karumathampatti police station since the daughter had also not returned home.
After investigation, it was discovered that the student had gone to Delhi by train alone from Coimbatore to join the football team in Delhi. The father of the girl student and the police then spoke to the girl via phone, based on the information given by the Delhi police on Monday.
The student reportedly asked her parents to pick her up from Delhi, after which a few police officials and the parents flew from Coimbatore to Delhi to rescue the student.
