The District Superintendent of Police inaugurated the Police Boys & Girls Club at the Sulur Police Station.
Coimbatore: District Superintendent of Police, Selvanagarathinam inaugurated the Police Boys & Girls Club at Karumathampatti Subdivision, Sulur Police Station here on Monday. He also interacted with and advised the children.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Karumathampatti Subdivision, Ananda Arogyaraj, Inspector of Police, Mathaiyan, sub-inspectors, and police personnel were also present on the occasion.
More than 50 children and parents participated in the inauguration. The Superintendent of Police highlighted the advantages of the club informed the children how they can benefit by becoming a part of the club. A scout master and Care Taker (girls) is appointed to the club. A library, equipment for internal and external sports materials for children to play with is inbuilt in the club.Exercise and martial arts are taught in the club. Notebooks were presented to boys and girls as gifts.
