On behalf of the Coimbatore District Police at Vadavalli near Coimbatore, the District SP Selvanagarathinam celebrated Children’s Day with children at Bommanampalayam by cake cutting and art performances.
Coimbatore: Children's Day celebration was held on behalf of the Coimbatore District Police at Vadavalli near Coimbatore, the District SP Selvanagarathinam who participated along with children at Bommanampalayam with cake cutting and art performances.
The district SP, Selvanagarathinam advised the children to be very brave in any situation.
Children’s Day was celebrated yesterday at the Ashraya Pal Bhavan in Bommanampalayam.
Children’s cultural programmes also took place.
On Children’s Day, the children cut the cake and gifts were presented by SP Selvanagarathinam.
He said, "Children are our wealth. We must ensure that our children are educates properly. Children should always be very brave and if anyone touches you without permission, you should immediately report it to the teachers or the police. Always make sure your safety. You can contact the police at any time. We will provide security and assistance to you."
Additional SP, Subashini, Perur DSP, Thirumal and police were present.
