On the orders of Pollachi pro-judge Balamurugan, the Circle Legal Services Committee and the Mahatma Gandhi Ashram jointly organized a legal awareness campaign.
Valparai: A legal aid and awareness camp was held in the presence of the Chief Justices at Sethu Mada near Valparai.
As per the instruction of the Coimbatore District High Court, legal aid and awareness camps are being conducted for the general public on behalf of the judiciary at various places.
At the camp held at Anna Nagar Primary School in the area where the people were rescued near Valparai, the Circle Legal Services Committee and the Mahatma Gandhi Ashram jointly organized a legal awareness drive for the rescued people as per the order of Pollachi Pro-Judge Balamurugan.
In the presence of Judge Balu and Judge Anand, a legal awareness program was held on the issue of child marriage and child marriage.
Children should not be sent to work as slaves. The judges at the camp raised awareness that children should be sent to school compulsorily and everyone should be aware of the law.
Judge Dee Balu, Sarvodaya Ashok Kumar, Akimsa Karthikeyan, Ranganathan, Judge M. Balamurugan, Anandi Judge, V. Subashini Judge, Sellaya Judge, Ramesh Kumar Advocate participated.
Among them legal volunteers Murugan, Thanalakshmi and Thamaraikkannan and office bearer Meghalaya also participated.
