Coimbatore: The relatives, friends and public have gathered in front of the school girl’s house, who hanged to death on Thursday over harassment by her school teacher. The protestors demanded justice for the victim. The incident has caused stirs in the area.
In an unfortunate incident, 17-year-old student, who was a student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, RS Puram took her life due to distress caused by the sexual harassment she was subjected to by her teacher. The girl had written a letter before committing suicide which is made public. The suicide note has created restlessness among the public.
Over 500 people, relatives, friends, public and social activists gathered in front of the girl’s house and staged protests demanding justice.

Mithun Chakravarthy, the accused was interrogated and arrested last night. The girl’s body is to be brought home in a little while.
