A special camp for lending for various schemes implemented by Tamil Nadu Minorities Economic Development Corporation like Personal Loan Scheme, Small Scale Loan Scheme for SHGs, and Education Loan Scheme commenced on the 8th in cooperative banks in Coimbatore. People above 18 years of age and not over 60 years of age in the Minorities categories who live in Coimbatore are eligible to apply for the assistance.
Minorities such as Christian, Islam, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, and Jain, can apply for these loan schemes. Loan assistance will be provided only to one member of the family. The beneficiaries have to submit caste certificates, Aadhaar cards, residence certificates, details of the business among other documents that are required for the processing of loan. When applying for an education loan, students have to submit copies of the transfer certificate and conduct certificates.
The camp is scheduled to conclude on the 16th of this month.
