Vijay got into a scuffle in which an enraged Sabeer stabbed Vijay with a knife and fled with his friends. Coimbatore: A youth was stabbed to death in a rooster theft case near Madukkarai in Coimbatore. According to police reports, Sindhu, (52), of Balamurugan Kovil Road, Madukkarai, next to Coimbatore, is survived by his son Vijay, (23) who is a painter. It is learned that Sasikumar, a resident of the same area, stole a fighting cock from Sabeer (24), a resident of Madukkarai and sold it to Vijay two months ago. He then asked Vijay to return all the missing rooster.
Vijay said he knew nothing about it and said he was ready to amicably settle the issue. Meanwhile, Sabeer was waiting with his friends near a private company near Madukkarai. When Vijay visited the location, a war of words between Sabeer and him broke.
