The Jain Sthanakwasi Sangh and Rashtriya Mahamanglik Anushtan Samiti organized 'Saraswathi Pooja' in Coimbatore, invoking the blessings for the well-being of students.
Coimbatore: The Saraswathi Jain Vedic Pooja was jointly organized by theRashtriyaMahamanglik Anushtan Samiti and Coimbatore Jain Sthanakwasi Sangh at the Kikani Auditorium in Coimbatore.
November 9 is observed as Gyan Panchami. Saraswathi, known as the godess of education was invoked for blessing children in their education and to gain knowledge. The first 'Gyan Panchami' was held at the Sarojini Auditorium in Kikani School. The program began by holy prayers by the Jain Sadhvijis, Dr. Sadhviji Kumudlataji, Sadhviji Mahapragyaji, Sadhviji Padmakirtiji, Sadhviji Rajkirtiji Marasaheb. President of Coimbatore Jain sthanakwasi Sangh and Sripalchand Kankaria welcomed the gathering. Secretary Dhanraj Chordia submitted a report on the activities of the Sangh during the Chatrumasya.
Sadhviji Kumudlataji blessed all the devotees and Saraswathi prayers began after the Kumbhstapna by trustees and guests. Youth Wing President Amit Nahata and his team coordinated the event. Prayers were chanted by everyone including students for the pandemic to cease and Sadhviji Kumudlataji prayed for the well-being of all mankind, animals and plants.
Kamlesh Bafna, Pradeep Kikani, Ramesh Bafna, Mayur Kikani, Ramesh sutaliya, Inder Bhai Kothari, apex Mahaveer Jain, Kishore Jain, Mahendra Ranka, Rikhabchand Kankaria, Shantilal Bhansali, Manoj Hingad, Sunil Hingar, Inderchand Bohra, Kirti Gadiya, Gouttamchand Bohra, Prasanth Pokharna, Raju Jain, Rajesh Pokhrana, Dharmendra Jain Rajesh Golecha and others were honoured for their services given to the society. Children were also honored with the Prabhavana. Sunil Hingar proposed the vote of thanks.
