Tirupur: In Tirupur district, 40 mobile phones worth Rs. 5 lakh which had either been missing or stolen in the last two months, have been recovered.
The Tirupur District Superintendent of Police, Shashank Sai requested the public to immediately lodge a complaint with Cyber Crime if their phones are stolen or missing.
The event organised to hand over the missing and stolen mobile phones in various parts of Tirupur district took place in the presence of the Tirupur SP, Shashank Sai on Tuesday.
40 mobile phones worth about Rs. 5 lakh which were recovered in the past two months were handed over to the rightful owners.
Two special teams had been set up to recover the stolen mobile phones.
