In a tragic incident, a woman died as her family watched after she fell from the vehicle while returning home from a temple. Sasikala, (40), Sivaraj’s wife visited the Mondipalayam (Melathiruppathi) along with her daughter.
Sasikala fell from the motorcycle near Ponnandampalayam and she sustained severe head injuries. Sasikala was rushed to a private hospital in Thennampalayam by the passersby. Post the first aid, she was being shifted to the government hospital in Coimbatore but lost her life on the way to the hospital. Karumathampatti police have registered a case and are investigating.
