Coimbatore: Race Course Road police are investigating allegations that a policeman sexually harassed a transgender in Coimbatore. A man from the transgender community from Coimbatore has lodged a complaint with the Race Course Police Station regarding the loss of his cell phone. The policeman who went to his house to investigate the complaint, Muvendan Velpari (PC), has been accused by the transgender person of speaking poorly and sexual harassment. The incident was reported by the transgender at the Racecourse Police Station. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
