The Coimbatore Police are hunting for the persons who snatched off and fled with a 7 sovereign gold chain from a woman.
Coimbatore: An elderly woman from Saibaba Colony lost her chain to snatchers on Saturday. The police are on the lookout for the miscreants.
Vijayalakshmi, (62), wife of Raj is from Saibaba Colony. Two persons followed her as she was walking home through the Ramalingam Street. Vijayalakshmi, who was misconceived that the duo was looking for directions, tried to help them but was snatched off her 7 sovereign gold chain.
The victim lodged a complaint with the Saibaba Colony police. The police registered a case and are on the hunt for the snatchers.
