A 24-hour service unit is functioning to receive complaints from the public regarding rains, floods, cyclones, and the unlit street lights in Coimbatore corporation areas. The complaints received are immediately recorded in the relevant register.
In view of the importance of the information received, employees in the rank of Junior Assistants have been appointed to inform the Commissioner, Engineer, Executive Engineer, Urban Welfare Officer and the concerned Assistant Commissioners by telephone regarding the complaints received.
Similarly, one person has been appointed to the control room in each zone of the Coimbatore Corporation. The administration has directed the authorities to keep the JCB vehicle and drivers, power operators on standby in each zone.
