Police arrested Sivakumar (41) of Panchayat Office Road, Chettipalayam, Coimbatore and Karuppasamy (31) of Karacheri for engaging in cockfighting. They also seized two cocks used for cockfighting and Rs 1,500 cash.
Coimbatore: Sub Inspector Arul Prakash of Kinathukadavu Police Station received confidential information that some people were involved in a cockfight with money in the Arasampalayam Karacheri road area near Kinathukkadavu in Coimbatore district.
Police who later went to area behind the private spinning mill in the Arasampalayam area, found that some people were involved in a cockfight with money.
