Surveillance cameras have recorded footage of the man frequently entering some houses on the main road leading to Masakalipalayam in Lal Bahadur Nagar. Therefore, the people of the area have decided to request the Commissioner of Police to immediately monitor the activities of this unidentified person.
Coimbatore: CCTV footage of an unidentified person breaking into a house and targeting specific houses for three months has caused panic among the people, as the number of incidents of miscreants breaking into houses and stealing items including jewellery has been on the rise in Coimbatore recently.
Lal Bahadur road located on the Masakalipalayam Road in the Coimbatore Hope College area, has a large number of apartments and shops, which are always crowded with people and motorists. For the last three months, an unidentified person has been visiting the area on a white two-wheeler bearing the registration number TN 37 CX4262. Recently, the mystery man had parked the vehicle in front of the Reliance store near Balan Nagar and from there he reportedly looked into every house and entered the compound adjacent to the private hostel. Then the CCTV footage shows him coming out an hour later.
For the past three months the video has been recorded of the person parking his vehicle in several places, looking at certain houses and entering an unoccupied house during the day and then walking out of the house taking along with him some items.
According to latest reports, the unidentified person has been wandering in the area for two days and nights before Diwali. He then entered the house adjacent to the private hostel. Surveillance cameras recorded footage of him leaving the house in the early hours of the morning.

The movement of the unidentified person has caused fear among the residents of the area. People in the area suspect that the same person may have recently entered the Karur Vysya Bank ATM room in the vicinity and stolen 7 batteries. Therefore, the people of the area have decided to request the Commissioner of Police to immediately monitor the activities of this unidentified person.
