The Rotaract Club, through the programme, SADAK 2.0 has invited volunteers to join them in cleaning and getting rid of wastes accumulated on the roads as a result of bursting crackers.
Coimbatore: Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Ikons has organized SADAK 2.0 to clear wastes accumulated post Diwali on roads.
SADAK 2.0 is a road cleaning initiative in which volunteers shall join hands with the club in cleaning the wastes collected from bursting crackers post-Diwali.
A source from the club has stated that, by taking part in this initiative, “for every 5 people participating in this initiative, one sanitary worker will be awarded.”
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan anniversary was observed in October.
The aim of the mission is ‘Be a part of Mission-Clean India, Let's join our hands together, to make our environment a better place to live in'.
The SADAK 2.0 initiative begin at 6.30 pm on 5th November, at CCD, RS Puram.
Interested people shall register through the google form https://forms.gle/WwHJzkwLTYwA3jg89 or can avail it through their Instagram handle, @rotaract_ikons.
Once the forms are filled, the volunteers will be added to a WhatsApp group and further information will be communicated through that group.
