Radhakrishnan, son of Mahalakshmi, belongs to the Muduvar tribe who lives in Athupollachi next to Pollachi. Radhakrishnan lost his father when he was two-years old, while his mother is an MGNREGA worker. The duo lives in a cluster house. Radhakrishnan appeared for NEET last year but could not clear in his debut attempt.
Radhakrishnan, who was not ready to give up already, appeared for the exam this year and cleared it with a cut-off of 406 marks. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) results were announced last week. As many as 16 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET entrance examination this year.
