Coimbatore: Liquor sales at TASMAC stores in Coimbatore district on Diwali day alone totalled to Rs. 16,19,00,000.
TASMAC officials stated that there are a total of 294 TASMAC stores in Coimbatore district alone. For administrative convenience, Coimbatore is divided into North and Coimbatore South. There are 158 TASMAC stores in the north of Coimbatore and 136 TASMAC stores in the south.
