Coimbatore: Unidentified miscreants set the car of a Hindu Mahasabha state youth leader on fire near Coimbatore. Police rushed to the spot and are investigating. PN Palayam police are searching for the persons who set the car of the state youth leader of the Hindu Mahasabha on fire near Coimbatore. Subhash, (47), is from Pannimadai near Thudiyalur in Coimbatore. He is the State Youth Leader of the All India Hindu Mahasabha. The night before yesterday, he parked his car in front of the house. At 11:00 pm the car caught fire and started burning.
Immediately the locals poured water and extinguished the fire. They also then found a 2 litter capacity bottle lying at the spot. Thadagam police are investigating the incident. Police examined CCTV camera recordings. It is reported that two people were approaching the car and escaping after the car caught fire with a loud bang. Police has launched a search operation are on the look-out for the two miscreants.
