Coimbatore: The Sub-Collector of Pollachi, Thakare Shubham Dnyandeorao released the draft voter list for Coimbatore district.
The district has a total electorate of 15,19,419 male voters, 15,64,628 female voters and 518 third sex voters with a total electorate of 30,84,565. There are 8,798 new male voters, 9,116 female voters and a total of 18,133 voters, including 99 third gender voters, while 15,476 have been removed.
This draft voter list can be viewed by the people of the 10 Assembly constituencies in the district. Missing names and persons who will turn 18 on January 1, 2022 can apply for inclusion in the list. Amendments to the records in the draft voter list and change of address may apply for removal of name. Applications will be accepted on all working days until November 30 from 10 am to 5 pm at all Polling Centers, Voter Registration Offices and Assistant Voter Registration Offices.

To apply, Form 6 is to be used for inclusion of name in the voters list, Form 7 for deregistration, Form 8 for amending an existing record and Form 8A for change of address within the same assembly constituency. Applications for addition, deletion and correction of name in the voters list can be uploaded through the website www.nvsp.in. Further petitions can be uploaded through the website www.elections.tn.gov.in
