Those who accepted bribe in the solar panel case must also be punished, says Saritha Nair


Saritha Nair who was arrested by the Tamil Nadu police in relation to the solar panel case has stated that former minister Palanimanikkam received Rs.25lakhs money as bribe. Saritha Nair her former husband Biju Radhakrishnan and Ravi were arrested in 2009 for cheating an individual to the tune of Rs.28 lakhs on the promise of installing a windmill. The case is being heard at the 6th judicial magistrate court in Coimbatore. Saritha Nair appeared before the court today for hearing. The judge rescheduled hearing of this case to 10th of January.

When speaking to the press after the court hearing Saritha Nair said, “Kerala police are investigating the case of Rs.25lakhs that I gave to former DMK minister S.S. Palanimanickam. Oommen Chandy and the others who are involved in the solar panel case in Kerala should also be punished” she said.
