A sex racket behind the veil of a massage centre in Rathinapuri area
Coimbatore: The Rathinapuri Police here on Friday busted a sex racket being run behind the veil of a massage centre.
The Rathinapuri Police busted a sex racket in the area at the massage centre named Honey Spa and arrested a man based in Kerala. John Gerald of Kochi visited the spa last afternoon. He was approached by a man and an inappropriate offer was made to John.
A suspicious John ran from the place posing to bring extra cash and informed the Rathinapuri police of the racket. The squad raided the place and confirmed the prostitution run in the centre. Raju Raj, (31), son of Rajendran of Kerala who ran the centre, was held and lodged in prison.
A 38-year-old woman from Mettupalayam, a 35-year-old woman from Seeranaickenpalayam, and a 28-year-old woman from Thrissur in Kerala were rescued and sent to the help centre.
