Officials from 'Indigo' Airlines said, "Start of new services from Coimbatore is confirmed. Previously the service between Coimbatore and Goa was supposed to start from October 31. This has been pushed to December 1 now.”
Coimbatore: Post 'Covid-19' pandemic outbreak, the situation at Coimbatore International Airport has started to return to normalcy. Presently over 17 flights are operated every day.
In the domestic sector direct flight services are provided to Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad. Apart from these flight services to various other cities such Ahmedabad via Bengaluru, to Baroda, Guwahati via Chennai are also provied at Coimbatore airport.
In this situation 'Indigo' airlines has announced to commence new services between Coimbatore and Tirupathi and Coimbatore - Goa from December. The service to Goa will be provided from December1. Flight would start from Coimbatore at 1:45 AMand would reach Goa at 3:05 AM. In return the flight would depart Goa at 3:35 AM and would reach Coimbatore at 5:05 AM.
The service to Tirupathi would commence from December 16. The flight would start from Tirupati at 5:00 PMand would reach Coimbatore at 6:20 PM. Again the flight would start from Coimbatore at 6:40 PMand would reach Tirupati at 8:00PM. Both these services will be provided Daily.
