Coimbatore: A fire broke out at a car parts sales outlet in Coimbatore on Friday, sending smoke billowing into the air. A godown selling car and spare parts owned by Martin is operating in Sripathi Nagar next to Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore.

Firefighters are working to put out the blaze.
The fire has been raging for more than an hour without being contained due to the high amount of plastic materials used for the cars.
Also in the accident several lakhs of rupees worth of cars and parts in the godown were reduced to ashes.
Ramanathapuram police have registered a case in connection with the incident and are investigating the cause of the fire from various angles.
