The Southern Railways alters timings of trains every year for certain destinations, and this year the train timings of 24 special trains have been altered.
Coimbatore: The Southern Railways in a press release has announced the alteration of train timings of 24 special trains in keeping with its usual practice of altering the timings of certain trains, every year. The timings of 24 special trains including Chennai-Egmore-Kanyakumari-Coimbatore-Mayiladuthurai.
Coimbatore: The Mayiladuthurai Jan Shatabdi Express special train will reach Mayiladuthurai at 1.55 pm,while the Nagercoil Express will reach Kolkata at 4.55 pm.
Chennai-Egmore-Kollam Express special train will reach Irani station at 9:36 pm, Kuzhithurai at 9.52 am and Kollam at 12.55 pm. The Chennai-Egmore-Kanyakumari Express special train will reach Nagercoil at 5 am.
The Coimbatore-Nagercoil Express special train will reach Madurai Junction at 12.25 am and Virudhunagar junction at 1.13 am. The change in timings of these trains will come into effect from November 1.
Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram Express special train will arrive at Trichy at 4.05 pm, Pudukottai at 5.03 pm, Manamadurai at 6.55 pm and Ramanathapuram at 7.53 pm. Madurai-Rameswaram Express special train will reach Manamadurai junction at 7.10 am and arrive at Ramanathapuram at 8 pm, and Pambanai at 9.09 pm. The change in timings of these trains will come into effect from November 4.
