Urban Local Government Elections consultation meeting was held at Kinathukadavu. District in-charge Maruthamalai Commander said the DMK has won a majority in the recent rural local government elections due to the success of the plans made during Stalin's rule.
Coimbatore: It has been reported that urban local elections will be held in Tamil Nadu soon. Thus, the political parties are preparing for the urban local elections.

As part of this, a consultative meeting on the urban local elections on behalf of the Kinathukadavu Union and DMK was held today at a private wedding hall in the Checkpost area. The meeting was chaired by Kinathukadavu West Union Officer Mohammad Yasin and was presided over by City Officer Kanagaraj. Attending the meeting, Coimbatore East District Commissioner Maruthamalai Senadhipathi gave advice to party executives on the upcoming urban local elections.

He also demanded that the DMK should work for the victory of the people in the forthcoming urban local body elections by carrying out the welfare schemes introduced by the DMK government and working in solidarity with the people.

The meeting was attended by District General Committee Member Natarajan, District Responsibility Committee Members Kathirvelu, Market Chinnu, District Panchayat Member Rajan, Kinathukadavu Union Councilor Ramasamy, Tamilpithan, Women's Wing District Deputy Organizer Shakthi Saranya and many other city and union officials.
