Vehicle check officers in Kinathukadavu imposed a fine of Rs. 34,000 on a truck owner for overloading the truck with M-Sand.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore city police officials seized a truck that was heavily loaded with M-Sand and imposed a fine of Rs. 34,000 on the truck owner.
Kinathukadavu Special Sub-Inspector Sundaramurthy and police officer Joseph were involved in vehicle checks, in Arasampalayam area. They stopped a truck that was loaded with M-Sand and while checking found that the load was more than the stipulated amount of sand that was allowed.
The police then seized the overloaded truck and imposed a fine of Rs, 34,000 on the truck owner.
