Coimbatore:A man in Coimbatore died as he slipped in the washroom in Ukkadam.
Ranganathan, (53) is a welder from Konavaikkalpalayam near Vellalur. He went textile shopping to shop for his son’s wedding. In an unfortunate turn of events, he slipped in the washroom and suffered severe head injuries. He was rushed to the hospital. However he succumbed to his injuries.
Yesterday Ranganathan went to purchase clothes for his son's wedding. After making the purchase, he went to the public washroom at the Ukkadam bus stand where he stumbled and fell.The public rescued Ranganathan from a pool of blood and admitted him to Coimbatore Government Hospital. Doctors examined him and declared him dead on arrival. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
