Passengers allege that rain water leaks have become frequent inside buses due to heavy rainfall in Coimbatore district for the past month.
Coimbatore: Commuters in the suburbs of Coimbatore have alleged that water has been dripping from theinner roof of Government buses.
With the suburbs of Coimbatore district receiving moderate rainfall on Monday evening, rainwater reportedly dripped into the suburban bus (A11) being operated from Karumathampatti to Annur. Passengers who had been seated had to reportedly travel by standing in the buses.

Commuters travelling in buses in the city's suburbs allege that they have been travelling inbuses drenched in rain, due to water leaking in through the roofs of buses, especially since it had been raining continuously for the past month in the district. Bus passengers have urged the transport corporation administration to take steps to repair and then operate buses so that the public could travel comfortably.
