The 6th phase of the Mega Vaccine Drive was held on Saturday, had 269 camps in the city, of which in 91 camps conducted in Kinathukadavu region, 5,002 people were vaccinated.
Coimbatore:As per the reports, over five thousand people have been inoculated in the 91 camps conducted in Kinathukadavu region in Coimbatore.
As part of the mass inoculation drive, phase six, camps were organized in Government schools, theatres, ration shops in Kinathukadavu Taluk. 5,002 people benefited through the camp organized in the region. The camps began at 7 am on Saturday and ended at 7 pm. Joe Daniel, Deputy Director, Health Department, Kinathukadavu Regional Medical Officer, Chitra personally inspected the camps.
The public actively visited the camp after 4 pm, but the campsites were empty until 3 pm, stated the sources. With 9500 doses handy, only 5,002 people were injected with the vaccinations, stated the health officials
