Tirupur : 35 sheep, which were in a barn in Vellakoil area of Tirupur district, were tragically killed when lightning struck yesterday.
Police are investigating the incident. Sivaganesa Murthy (57), a farmer, is from Olappalaiyam next to Vellakoil in Tirupur district. Last evening, he tied up 80 sheep that had gone to pasture into a barn in his farm.
