A milk laden van collided head-on with a lorry parked on the Coimbatore-Pollachi National Highway near Kinnathukadavu Kallangattuputhur. The front portion of the van carrying the milk crashed and the driver of the van injured his leg.

Ranjith, the driver of the mile laden van from Pollachi Valaikombunagoor area was rushed to hospital in an ambulance with a broken leg. Kinnathukadavu police are investigating the incident.
