Pollachi: The District Superintendent of Police Selvanagarathinam inaugurated the boys and girls club at the Police Wedding Hall in Pollachi.
As part of the inauguration, the District SP, planted saplings, and shared a piece of advice with the children who participated in the event.
Children and parents were educated on the benefits of the being members of the club and the procedures to join were shared. The SP spoke of his experiences and his journey he travelled to become an IPS officer.
Scout in charge, care taker (girls) are appointed to overlook the various activities of the club.
